The bank account shudders.

Over the weekend, Brynna added two new words to her vocabulary. No and shoes. “No” makes perfect sense since she hears it about 10,000 times a day as either she or Chance is doing or thinking of doing something naughty. “Shoe”, on the other hand is a different story. Marcy fancies herself a shoe whore despite the fact she only has about 15 pairs of shoes (I weep for her) and is apparently hell bent on molding B into a future Carrie Bradshaw (fyi- I should probably have my testicles removed and placed in a jar for making a Sex in the City reference but it’s a damn good show so bite me) and in her quest has taken every chance possible to hold a shoe up to Brynn and carefully annunciate “SHOE”. So, after a few days of brainwashing, B will now say shoe on command. For the record, she still doesn’t say mom or dad on a regular basis but she will now say shoe and giggle with glee as she shakes her feet.

I’m screwed.

Shoe = Choo in Brynna speak...similar to Cho for Cheerio.

whoa! you actually did research. good point though except for the fact that I haven't even thought about shoes since then and marcy was the one who convinced me I needed shoes.

Oh yeah, I haven't even bought a pair of shoes (for myself) since B was born!
