Brynna knows a lot of words.

As first time parents, Marcy and I are constantly amazed at the intellect and physical prowess of our little princess.  Enough so that people will run away screaming when I begin to wax poetic (yet again) about how Brynna can almost tell the difference between the dog’s food and her own.

We’re proud of her advanced mobility, but that’s not what we’re most proud of.

We’re proud of her comprehension skills, but that’s not what we’re most proud of.

We’re proud of her anal retentive tendencies, but that’s not what we’re most proud of.

We’re proud of her gigantic head and big ole belly, but that’s not what we’re most proud of.

We’re proud of the fact that she cries when she poops on the floor or in the tub (funny, daddy cries about that too), but that’s not what we’re most proud of.

We’re most proud of her astonishing verbal abilities.  I believe I’ve previously mentioned some of the many words in her vocabulary.  These included dog “da”, kitty “itti”, mommy “ma or ma ma”, daddy “da or da da” and tree “te”.  Since then, she’s added a few more to her repertoire as well as perfected some of her previous words.  Her new vocab is this:

Daddy “da”
Dog “da”
Kitty “da”
Tree “da”
Food “da”
Car “da”
Yes “da” isn’t that german or Russian?  She is a genius.
Sun, sky, floor, ball, book, keys,  yada yada “da”

We’re so proud.
