First night in the new house

In the camper

Life in the camper can be interesting, especially when it has rained for something like 482 straight days. Being cooped up like that can lead to some pretty interesting things. Like:

lights out

lil update. uncle lancy-pants got most of the house electrified over the weekend so now we have lights AND stripey walls.

we also knocked off most of the second floor painting and trim over the weekend. good thing too since we have to move into the second floor this coming weekend. bathroom? we don't need no stinking bathroom!

doors and trim

Another quick update. Over the weekend (while we wait for the drywall to be finshed!!!) we installed a bunch of the interior doors and some more of the exterior trim. Pretty exciting huh?

Papa and Grampy working on exterior trim. This was Saturday when there was sun, they also did this on Sunday in the rain. Thankfully, I was on saw duty, doing the precision cutting (seriously, why would you think that is funny. wankers) so I got to stay in the nice, dry interior rocking out to some tunes.

Tis the Season

to get the spud out on her big girls bike. Usually B opts to ride her trike around (doing suprisingly fast laps around the basement last night) but sometimes she decides to roll with the big boyz. So on Sunday, after getting the request, we headed out to the pavement and gave 'er a rip.

she can ride totally on her own but likes my hand on her back.
